So, I’m sitting here at my aunt’s house, getting really stoked over this whole vegan conversion. Like, whoa!
Pouring over vegan recipes has become my pr0n. My back aches from my horrid posture as I have cookbooks and my netbook spread across the living room floor, hastily making notes in my journal.
If you know me well enough then you probably know I LOVE making lists. I mentally get off on it. The organizing process of putting things in their place makes me feel powerful. *shakes midgety fist in tyrannical glee* So, of course, this planning stage has been the best vegan foreplay.
Seriously though. I haven’t been this excited to cook since the first time I made curry for my parents upon returning home from Seattle. I guess you had to be there.
But I’m also looking forward to a few health benefits that I hear completely eliminating dairy from your diet can provide. Specifically some relief from the severity of my allergies and a possible improvement to my asthma. I don’t expect to lose much weight at first. I have a birthday coming up in November (Scorpios effing rule!) and I have to perfect some vegan birthday cake awesomeness. I know. sucks to be my guinea pigs.
Well, back to the pr0n- I mean “planning.”
