  • Resources

There are a lot of resources out there on the interwebs for veg-heads. But here is my list of resources I use, compiled as I find them or think of them.

    I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan!
    http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVegan/default.asp
Peta doesn’t just make outrageous moral judgments against people for swatting flies, they also have great resources, like this one.? I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan! is a pretty good list of coincidentally vegan foods available at your local supermarket.? So while it would be great to eat wonderful wholesome home cooked meals with whole natural ingredients, some of us have supermarket convenience hardwired into our brains.

    Accidentally Vegan
    http://www.petakids.com/accvegan.html
This is Peta’s I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan page for kids… or for junk food junkies like me who haven’t figured out how to eat grown-up food.

    Compassion Over Killing
    http://www.cok.net/lit/recipes/
COK is a lot like Peta and most other vegan portals in that it has a lot of animal content that will make you feel bad, mad, sad, etc.? And if that is what you are into then go ahead and peruse the rest of the site.? But I’ve linked directly to the recipes section, which is rich with simple everyday starter recipes

    The Vegan Dad
    http://vegandad.blogspot.com
I also have the Vegan Dad linked in my Vegan blogs to the right, but I really don’t think he should be overlooked.? This blog contains plenty of recipes for staple items such as vegan lunchmeats.? Not to be missed.
